it's nice to not have to drive all the way to Columbus to see great movies like these anymore! It's much appreciated! |
Thanks bwboy. I'm glad to know that we are reaching out to the community. Our films a great form of entertainment, that aren't available in all areas. I'm glad to help bring these films to Athens, a community that needs them. |

Is the new Johnny To flick "Exiled" going to come to the Athena? _________________ "Film as dream, film as music. No form of art goes beyond ordinary consciousness as film does, straight to our emotions, deep into the twilight room of the soul. "

The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford?
Or is that coming to the Grand? _________________ "Film as dream, film as music. No form of art goes beyond ordinary consciousness as film does, straight to our emotions, deep into the twilight room of the soul. "

I am pretty sure this is one that will be coming to the Athena. It is only at 5 theaters in the nation right now so once they decide to start pumping it out keep your eyes open. From what I have read it doesn't sound like they are going to push it hard until late October.

| I think it will be coming to the Athena unless they release it very wide, in which case it might go to the Grand. Its only in one theater right now however so odds are it wil be at the Athena. |

| I am looking at both of these and we will probably get them within the next 2-3 weeks... no promises on those dates though. |

| Don't forget, and No Country for Old Men should be great. |

| What about JUNO? Looks like a superb film from a unique perspective. Also what happened to Eagle vs. Shark and Rocket Science? They were previously listed as coming soon and now have disappeared. |

| We've got our date on No Country for Old Men (see above) They are still slowly rolling out Jesse James but we will get it ASAP. Before the Devil Know's You're Dead looks very good and we are pursuing it but it is very limited currently. Juno looks GREAT!, but doesn't come out until December. Rocket Science played a couple weeks ago, sorry you missed it. Lastly, the distributor pulled Eagle vs. Shark because of marketing difficulties and lack of attendence, we never had a shot at it. |
